Who We Are
John C. Hipp Construction Equipment Company is a third generation family owned and operated paving, underground utilities, and site work contractor founded by John Hipp in 1971. John, with his wife Mary by his side, built a strong foundation for the company and was very successful until his retirement in 1991. His daughter, Virginia Johns, then took the reins. Due to Virginia's dedication and determination, the company thrived under her lead. In 2015 Virginia decided it was time for her to slow down a little and hand things over to her son, Caleb Johns. Caleb's goal is to follow in his family's footsteps and maintain the company's excellent reputation by continuing to provide our customers with the same exceptional quality and service that Hipp Construction has always been known for.

Hipp Construction offers a wide range of services for our residential, commercial, and municipal customers. We are a full service site work contractor, including clearing, excavation, building pads, ponds, underground utilities, asphalt paving, and concrete services. Whether its your private driveway, new residential or commercial development, or FDOT Heavy Highway, we can take your project from start to finish.
